ANSWERPLUS COMMUNICATIONS NOMINATED FOR
PRESTIGIOUS CALL CENTRE OF THE YEAR AWARD

Ed Robinson, Chief Executive Officer of
AnswerPlus Communications, a Nanaimo based customer
contact call centre with customers around the world
proudly announced today that AnswerPlus
Communications has been nominated by Call Center
Magazine, a North American publication, for the
prestigious Call Centre of the Year award. Some of
the other nominees include Compaq, Dell Computers,
Northwest Airlines, Nextel, Capital One, Sprint, and
CitiMortgage.
The award to be presented in Orlando Florida, is
made to call centres in North America that are
especially successful in improving their centres,
implementing technology, meeting service goals,
decreasing turnover and increasing productivity. "We
are proud to have been selected by the editors of
Call Center Magazine as one of the most outstanding
during 2001", says Ed Robinson.
According to the Managing Editor of Call Center
Magazine, "When we make our selections for potential
award winners, we look at factors in addition to
metrics such as service levels. We consider how call
centres serve customers, including the ease with
which both callers and visitors to Web sites can
reach live agents. We also find out how call centres
train and evaluate agents, and we learn about the
overall working environment in each centre.
Robinson says "AnswerPlus is positioned as customer

The call centre handles over 5,000 calls a day and
